NIKA Vestments is an Australian-owned and operated ecclesiastical tailoring service dedicated to crafting high-quality Liturgical Textiles for Orthodox Christians across Australia and beyond. Rooted in the rich traditions of the Orthodox faith, our work is both a spiritual offering and a craft, preserving the ancient art of ecclesiastical tailoring for future generations.
Each item we produce—whether a vestment, altar covering, or liturgical accessory—is made with care, reverence, and attention to detail, reflecting the beauty and sanctity of Orthodox worship. Our mission is not only to honour and uphold traditional craftsmanship, but also to support the daily life and liturgical function of the Church through reliable, beautiful, and theologically appropriate offerings.

OUR FABRICS
At NIKA Vestments we are dedicated to using the best, but more importantly right, materials for our customers; particularly in our Daily Wear products.
Over many years we have tested, sourced and narrowed down a variety of fabrics to those that tick all our boxes for comfort, durability, presentation and affordability.
Our Daily Wear fabrics are natural blend fabrics; meaning that the fabric is made of both natural fibres and synthetic ones. The beauty of a blended fabric is that it takes on the properties of both fibres. Natural fabrics are breathable and moisture wicking, meaning that the wearer won't overheat or feel exceptionally hot. The issue with natural fibres though is that they crease very easily, which is where the synthetic fibres step in. These fibres don't crease easily and have a beautiful drape, which keeps these garments looking fresh and presentable, and increases their durability.
ORDERS
Ordering with NIKA Vestments
Our dedication to providing exceptional Service and Products to our Customers is the main driving force behind our decision to currently be a 'made to order' service. This ensures that our Customers receive a tailored service, and our quality control maintains its high status.
That being said, due to that nature of a 'made to order' service, our clothing items will take a bit longer to reach their recipients. The average time for an order to be manufactured is currently three (3) months once we have all the materials. This of course is affected by the nature and volume of each order and is subject to change.

Caring for Your Items
The first thing to note, is that when in doubt DRY CLEAN.
The Vestments and Kalimata are Dry Clean Only items.
With regular wear, your items shouldn't need more than 2-3 visits to the drycleaner's a year. or when soiled.
The Exorasa and Anderi, can be handwashed in cold water with a mild detergent, or preferably baby shampoo. Line dry in the shade only. Try to only wash these items if they are soiled.
If you are concerned about any odours try to hang the item on a hanger in a well ventilated area or in the shade for a day. If the odour persists, then attempt to wash. Following this order will help increase the life of your garment.
